Mtre Charles Gauthier’s story
Discovering new worlds

Charles Gauthier, lawyer
Charles Gauthier was born in 1963 with a physical disability that earned him then, and still today, such comments as, “Come on, this activity isn’t for you. You can’t do that!” He overcomes this attitude every time, as can be seen in his determined expression. In fact, being constantly challenged has only increased his motivation and his desire to excel.
A University of Ottawa law graduate, admitted to the Bar of Quebec in 1991, Mtre Gauthier has a general practice, focussed on civil litigation, with the firm of Gauthier & Cordeau. A devotee of participative justice, he is proud to be a member of the Bar, which enables him to push back against limitations and expand his horizons.
By sharing his particular knowledge and expertise, Mtre Charles Gauthier contributes to the unique and diversified character of the Bar of Montreal.
