Discover the 2025-2026 program for the AIM FOR JUSTICE Events!

The Montreal Bar is pleased to announce the return of AIM FOR JUSTICE (www.visezdroit.com), a series of free activities designed to inform people about their rights and obligations and make the legal system more accessible. Following the resounding success of its first edition, the 2025-2026 program promises to be just as enriching and fascinating!

Free activities open to everyone

From September to March, Montrealers can find answers to their legal questions by participating in activities involving current issues, both on-line and in person.

Workshops and conferences

Upcoming conferences* :

  • September 12, 2025:       Conference about the law governing job dismissals (virtual)
  • October 15, 2025:           Conference about alimony (virtual)
  • November 4, 2025:         Conference about family law – new parental union regime (virtual)
  • November 22, 2025:       Conference to demystify family law (in person)
  • December 5, 2025:          Conference about fraud against the elderly (in person)

*In collaboration with the Vieux-Saint-Laurent, Saint-Léonard, Robert-Bourassa, Saint-Michel, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Père-Ambroise libraries.

Other seminars will be added over the next few weeks.

School workshop week

From November 10 to 14, 2025, Montreal lawyers are also invited to take part in Legal Education Week, organized by Éducaloi.


AIM FOR JUSTICE Open House on March 28, 2026, 2026

On March 28, 2026, everyone is invited to an Open House at the Montreal Courthouse and the Quebec Court of Appeal, a unique opportunity to explore behind the scenes of the legal system.

On the agenda: the popular free legal consultations, meetings with legal professionals, a mock trial, tours of the Courthouse, activities at the Court of Appeal as well as a meeting with exhibitors from the legal community.
