Only voluntarily registered lawyers participate in this service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. To make a request<\/strong> : complete the <strong>request form<\/strong> with your contact information and the nature of your problem or contact the Service by telephone.<br><strong>Only one form <\/strong>will be processed per file<em>: additional <\/em>referral requests must be submitted by e-mail only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Cost and Payment<\/strong> : the initial one-hour consultation is billed at $60 (plus taxes, if applicable). Any additional work will be billed at the lawyer&#8217;s regular rate. Consultation fees must be paid directly to the lawyer or via a Legal Aid mandate if you are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Communication of information<\/strong> : the Service provides you with the necessary information to contact the lawyer. The selected lawyer receives your name and the nature of your request by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.
