CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Any cancellation of registration for an activity must be done in writing and received by the Bar of Montreal no later than three business days before the start of the activity. After this deadline, payment will not be reimbursed, but the registration may be transferred to another eligible person at the same price or at a lower price.
The Bar of Montreal reserves the right to cancel any activity, in which case its liability shall be limited to the reimbursement in full of the registration fees already paid.
ABSENCE OF A PARTICIPANT
In the event a participant is absent during an activity, the activity cannot be taken at another time, nor will the fees for the activity be reimbursed.

The Bar of Montreal reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify any activity, in which case its liability shall be limited to the reimbursement in full of the registration fees already paid.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY
1. PERSONAL INFORMATION
“Personal information” is information that makes it possible to identify an individual or that is about an individual. This includes information that can be associated with you, such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address.
2. NO COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WHILE BROWSING
The Site Owner does not collect personal information about you unless (i) you voluntarily enroll for a specific service that requests that you provide such information, such as training or (ii) unless you send an e-mail message to the Site Owner.
3. REQUESTS FOR SERVICES
Personal information about you obtained by the Site Owner as you browse comes from you. Furthermore, your payment is made directly through Desjardins. The Bar of Montreal does not keep any data involving credit information; therefore you must resubmit your credit information with each new transaction.
Your personal information will be saved by the Site Owner. You can review your personal information during business hours by submitting a written request to the Bar of Montreal, 1, Notre-Dame Street East, Suite 9.80, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 1B6. You can also request, if applicable, that your personal information be corrected. Your request will be answered within 30 days of receipt. Should your request to access or correct your personal information be declined for any reason, you will be advised of those reasons in writing. If a photocopy of your personal information is requested, a reasonable fee may be required; in such case, you will be notified in advance.
5. NON-DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Site Owner will not release any personal information collected through this Website without your consent, with the exception that it reserves the right to divulge such personal information in the event of legal proceedings or if required by law.
