Over the past few years, lobbying has undergone a major transformation. Today, practices are legally regulated and a lobbyist is considered a professional who represents his or her clients before government bodies. The secret of good lobbying is to fully understand the context in which decisions are made and establish a plan that will allow decision-makers to respect their values, deliver on their commitments and be mindful of their constraints. Solutions and not problems must be provided.

This training session will enable you to have a better grasp of the modern practice of governmental relations and understand to what extent lobbying may prove to be necessary for your clients.
